The Yardbirds smash through ‘Stroll On’ in Blow Up

Anyone who has seen Blow Up, and says they love it, is a fibber in my eyes. I’m not saying the film is bad, but great it aint. What is fantastic about the film is it’s snapshot of London in the mid sixties. Sure, it swings (well, a little) and all the clothes look amazing, but the most compelling footage contained is the appearance of The Yardbirds in full pomp. You could convince the world that Jimmy Page is the coolest man on the planet if he wasn’t stood next to the greatest frontman ever, in Keith Relf. Enjoy, and watch Jeff Beck attack his guitar and Vox amp.
