Odessey and Oracle sees Zombies reform

Zombies

Psych-pop masters the Zombies have announced that they will be reuniting next year, forty years after disbanding.

The remaining members are to play two special shows in London, performing their 1968 legendary album "Odessey & Oracle" in it’s entirety (which is a PopJunkie fave – click here for review).

The shows will take place at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 7 and 8, next year after the group performed the LP for Little Steven’s ‘Underground Garage’ on Sirius Satellite Radio last year. Odessey & Oracle was released to a muted response from the public which saw the group disbanding before Time of the Season became a surprise hit in the States in 1968.

The first half of the concert will also see the Zombies’ play a selection of their other hits such as ’65s "She’s Not There" and "Tell Her No." [Mof Gimmers]
