Festival of the Day: Let’s Rock!, Edinburgh, 30 September

Late late late in the
festival calendar there is a very strange festival called Let’s Rock! Alonside
the terrible name, there is a whole host of bands who, well, don’t really rock.
It’s a tabloid newspaper of an event, starring the dubious talents of Rooster, Feeder,
Idlewild, Babyshambles, The Futureheads, The Rakes, The Mystery Jets, Ed
Harcourt, The Long Blondes, Morning Runner, The Young Knives and The Datsuns.
Highlight of this particular weekend will be the chance to perv over Juliette
Lewis from Juliette and The Licks. If you’re into that sort of thing. Still,
at £38, you can’t grumble.
